Getting some guidance from Brindle, or "Chow".

Hi, my name is Chuck Pound. I am the
hot
glass sculptor and marble maker at Sirius Sunlight here in Mineral
Point, Wisconsin. My background includes
electronics and electrical experience and no formal schooling in art. I learned torchwork
mostly by trial and error, not the recommended method but it worked.(?) I have been doing torchwork and stained glass for about
18 years. For about 14 years now I have been making small marbles for MarbleScopes,
and for the last seven years or so I have been making larger marbles
for collectors and other glass lovers. A few canoe trips on the Wisconsin river, some
backcountry hiking (preferably in the Colorado
Rocky's), shooting fireworks for Kastner
Pyrotechnics, and possibly some caving,
are diversions I enjoy in the warmer months.
In
the winter I love to cross country ski, when I can find snow around here...or
find the time to go out West, normally to Rocky Mountain National
Park.
I also enjoy creating Web pages for only a small fee!
